In life we often encounter situations that are stressful, sometimes overwhelming, confusing and difficult to cope with. Although it may seem initially scary, counselling can help to clarify thoughts and feelings.

I am here to help and support you whilst we explore any issues in your current life causing you discomfort or difficulty.

It may be that you have old hurts still impacting current behaviour, are feeling overwhelmed by circumstances, have difficult decisions to reach, or wish to develop greater self-awareness, growth and insight, leading to better relationships and enabling you to reach your full potential.

I consider the warm, accepting, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor to be the vital key to effective counselling. I offer a safe space to explore any issue troubling you; your time to use as you wish. I believe all clients have the ability to address their difficulties successfully and will support and empower you without direction or advice, respecting any decisions you make.

I draw on a range of counselling approaches to provide the right support for you as an individual. If wished I also have a range of creative activities which can be adjusted for any age, which may help to release unexpressed emotions safely and gain insight.

I see adults, couples, adolescents and children over 5 years
